Foundation Certificate: 3-day course = 18 hours, including an examination
Professional Certificate: 5-day course = 38 hours, including site operation, a quiz and an
examination

Found cert – $2,500 / Prof cert – $12,000

Certificate

Foundation Certificate – Certificate of Attendance in utility mapping for Inspectors,
Engineers, Surveyors and Project Managers; it meets the requirement for entry as
Associate member of Hong Kong Institute of Utility Specialists, HKIUS Competence
Certificate issued by PolyU-SPEED to meet the training requirements for application as
Competent Person under Cap406H.

Professional Certificate – Certificate of Attainment for those passed the test in utility
mapping for Operators, Engineers, Surveyors and Managers; it meets the requirements
for entry as full member of Hong Kong Institute of Utility Specialists, HKIUS
