Programme highlight

Infrared thermography has been adopted in identifying building defects for decades. Both professionals (includes qualified thermographers) and end-users are educated to interpret the color patterns in thermal images, it refers as qualitative approach.Qualitative Infrared Thermography analysis is to identify thermal anomalies in terms of colour differences. However, the quantitative approach, the knowledge of correlating the building defects and the thermal anomaly (temperature difference), is disregarded and overlooked, especially in building surface delamination.
