Safety Workshop on “How to Improve Hong Kong Construction Safety”

Although the construction industry safety record has been improved in recent years, however, it is noted that Hong Kong, amongst the major developed regions such as UK, EU, Japan, Taiwan and Singapore, etc., has the highest fatality rate per 1,000 workers. Following the recent multi-fatalities and the long overdue of safety management initiatives, there is an urgent need to review the situation. This Workshop aims to gather the views and recommendations from the safety
practitioners who play key roles in accident prevention. The Workshop, first of its kind, organized by local associations, will be held as scheduled below:

The Workshop is free of charge and the administration charge for the CPD certificate will be HK$100 for HKOSHA members and PolyU Staff/Students, and HK$150 for non-members. Duration of this CPD event will be 3.5 hours. Attendance Certificate will be issued to the participant upon the completion of the Workshop.
